Narge is a subscribeable content class—a stable hostname feed that software can fetch and use. Success is a maintainable, publicly accessible list other services can consume.
Cutline is a reference consumer: a cut path DNS resolver that uses Narge. The goal is a clean technical class definition and distribution system, not a movement or brand.

What is Narge?
Narge is a defined content class—a technical specification for one category of internet sites. See the specification for the formal definition.
The Narge list is:
- A hostname feed published at a stable URL
- Machine-readable and subscribeable
- Open source—anyone can read the spec and verify the classification
- Purpose-based, not content-scanning
Cutline: One Consumer
Cutline is a DNS resolver that consumes the Narge list. It demonstrates how the class can be used:
- No signup, no tokens, no accounts
- Open source configuration and specification
- No charge to use
- Run by Dov Allison
Cutline is not the movement or the metric. The success metric is other software adopting Narge as a feed.
What This Is Not
- Not a house filter, hechsher, government, or kids product
- Not a "safe/clean/trusted" brand—no shield, guard, or family language
- Not a movement or coalition—Narge is a content class, not a brand
- Not the only cut path—anyone can run one
- Not an addiction treatment or complete filtering solution
